The offset design of the X525 driver allows the face to square up at impact for a straighter ball flight. The strategically placed heel draw-bias weighting of the X-series offset designs are engineered to help golfers avoid the right side of the course and to increase launch.
Offset designs are combined with heel sole weighting system that includes a 10-gram back weight and sole rail concentrated entirely on heel side of the clubhead to provide the ultimate in anti-slice technology.
Weight strategically placed to the extreme rear of the clubhead places more mass at the extreme trailing edge of the clubhead. The back weight creates an extremely high MOI rating that surpasses 5,000 g-cm2 for top in-line stability.
A ridgeback rail on the crown, originally an Exotics-only tech, is featured on every 525 metal. The ridgeback rail provides increased structural properties that help produce more power across the entire face, including the extreme perimeters. The ridgeback activation is also utilized as a unique alignment aid at address.
Diamond Face VFT technology is a breakthrough in face technology that features 37 different thick and thin diamond shapes or “mini-trampolines” behind the face. Diamond Face VFT produces a hotter face with faster ball speeds and better performance on off-center hits, as well as reduced spin.

I buy my used clubs from another online business that has photos of the clubs. I bought this used driver from Tour Edge without photos. I was a little hesitant but bought all my new clubs from Tour Edge so figured I would take a chance. I definitely was NOT disappointed. The driver I purchased was in excellent shape. I won’t hesitate to purchase used clubs from Tour Edge.
Love the X525 10.5 with senior shaft. Offers me better control and 10-15 yds. of extra distance. Cannot even tell it was a pre-owned driver-no signs of wear! Great value!
Bought a used #9 x525 hybrid late last season and really fell in love with this model series from Tour Edge. Good game improvement. Have since converted all my fairway woods/ hybrids to this series. The driver was the last on the list and although sold as “previous owned,” I couldn’t find a flaw on the club if I tried (and I did). Quick delivery and good communication throughout the whole process. Now if I could only stop 3 putting…
Arrived pretty fast. Had a little blemish on the toe area of the crown. It doesn't bother me too much, I purchased a previously owned version to see if I like it before I go all in. I never have owned a Tour Edge. It's got a different sound than I'm used to. I'm coming from a Mizuno STZ 220 and a TaylorMade M2. Both have a higher pitch "tink" sound. This is a duller knock. Not a bad thing, just different. I got the offset because I used to play a Cobra offest SS350 and I LOVED it. The x525 isn't as easy to hit as the old Cobra and has a lower ball flight, both being 10.5 degree. When I catch it right it goes farther because of the lower trajectory but that's when I catch it right. It's not the club, it's the user. Tour Edge makes a very good product.

Beautiful club. Next to impossible to tell it was pre-owned. Took to the range and it only took about 4 swings to get the feel for it. Then it was almost impossible for to hit a bad shot… trust me, there were ball marks all over the face, so the golfer was as erratic as ever, but club was doing all the heavy lifting. Almost all of my mid-hits were straight and reasonably long. I really like this club.

Received the club faster than expected. Looks great, only one small spot on face of club, otherwise looks like a brand new one. Tried it out today and had drives 20- 30 yards farther than I have had in a long time. Very happy with this purchase!
