A rear weight repositions mass toward the back perimeter of the club head, enhancing forgiveness and stability for favorable results.
Speed Across the Face
Diamond-shaped variable thickness zones maximize ball speed and accuracy across the face, helping you get consistent distance whether you make perfect contact, or strike it off the heel or toe.
Shot-Shaping Control
A traditional setup at address promotes confident alignment and allows for shot-shaping workability.
Smoother Contact
A new V-Taper Sole tapers toward the back perimeter of the head to shift weight outward, which not only increases forgiveness and heightens launch, but also reduces digging upon impact for cleaner ball strikes.
Optimized Launch
A larger face helps the ball launch higher with the right amount of spin, giving you a stronger, more penetrating shot whether you’re hitting from the turf or rough.

Aldila Ascent
The Aldila Ascent PL provides lightweight performance with faster club head speeds without sacrificing feel. Ascent PL technology is designed to resist ovaling, keeping the clubhead in position and creating more center-face contact.
Have only used it for one round of golf so far and one trip to a driving range. Still getting used to it, but can hit it much farther than the 5 iron it is replacing. Moreover, I think all my Tour Edge clubs are of very good quality, without being overly expensive.
Love the club. Playing great. Your team specifically Mike helped me all the way. Great job. Can’t wait until Tuesday to use it again.
Ball went straight and the distance I wanted.
Thanks again.
When you’re ready to send samples to try your golf balls I am ready. I am sure they are as good as your clubs.
I previously purchased D, 3W, 3H, & 4H and I liked them well. Much better than my prior clubs (PXG). These are no nonsense or better put no adjustments necessary or available just like the clubs I started playing with 60+ years ago. The course I play has a PAR 3 that my 5-iron won't get to and my 4H is too much. To remedy this I decided to try a 5H. Played the hole twice and both times pin high slightly to the right. I also find the 5H easier to hit than my 5-iron and especially so from the rough. I LIKE IT. What more can I say?
I purchased this #4 hybrid in lieu of a #4 iron. I'm older and my swing speed has slowed. Great product, when I can actually hit the ball. Easy 200 yard drive when I connect. Problem is my ability to connect. I'm sure this club will be my favorite when I learn to hit the ball properly. As for now, it's a learning curve.
I have owned Tour Edge hybrids in the past, Bazooka 3,5,7 & 8, as well as 9Iron, Pitching wedge, 52 degree and 56 degree. I recently gave these to my grandson, and purchased some new Cobra XR irons.
I wanted to add a hybrid back to my bag, and bought the new 3 from Tour Edge. I played with it twice, and several sessions at a driving range. I feel that the club is not as well balanced as previous models, and the head seems smaller. I could not get comfortable with it. It feels light, and the flight was much lower than I am after.
I will be returning the club. I am satisfied with Tour Edge, and will consider this brand for future purchases.
I recently bought a Hot Launch Max #7 Fairway and liked it.
So then I thought, with a 30 day return policy, why not try the a Hot Launch Max Driver. Well, I'm hitting the Hot Launch Max Driver longer and straighter than my PXG 0811XF Driver. When I needed to replace my old 5 Hybrid, I again turned to the Hot Launch Max line for that one too. Some reviews say they are good clubs "for the price" But I'd simply say that all three of mine are simply great clubs.
I initially purchased the river with a 43" senior shaft shaft (I'm 76). I liked it and added the 3W and #4-Hybrid next. I liked them too and still had room for 1 club in the bag so I ordered the #3-Hybrid. Played Tuesday 6/16 at Blackberry Oaks and used the #3H for the first time. Hit it well twice going into the Par 5 464 yard 7th hole. Used the #3H for y second shot which ended up just over the green. Chipped in from there for an Eagle 3. I've played similar but these from TE are the most accurate. Need I say more?
Purchased the Driver with a 43" shaft. Liked it and decided to add a #4 Hybrid and 3-wood. The #4 22 Hybrid carries about 175 yards. A little bit of a draw. So far so good.
I ordered the 3 Hybrid and I like it. But after only 2 days the headcover tag is coming off because the threads have unraveled. It falling off. Any help with a new headcover would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
I absolutely love this hybrid. I have tremendous luck with all my Tour Edge products. I swing your irons as well. Very happy with this purchase and Tour Edge.
I got the Hot Launch Max 4 hybrid and I absolutely love it! The Diamond Face technology is the real deal. You can really feel the ball jump off the club face. I have the Exotics E722 irons and 3 wood and it's the same thing. I'm a big fan of Tour Edge. They make quality products at half the price of the big brand golf club manufacturers.
