Aldila Ascent
The Aldila Ascent PL provides lightweight performance with faster club head speeds without sacrificing feel. Ascent PL technology is designed to resist ovaling, keeping the clubhead in position and creating more center-face contact.
Wife always had secondhand mens and women's clubs. Bought these for her and she loves them. Solid feel, able to get the ball airborne, good distance . . . what's not to love.
this is my opinion and i don’t have any scientific data to back it up. i can only relate what i feel.
i’m a 74 year old senior man with bad hips and a very slow swing speed.
the overall weight and swing feel feels very heavy for a women’s club. the overall sweet spot is pretty small and not what i expected. i had difficulty finding the sweet spot. i currently play xxio series hybrids and i have no trouble hitting them.
this is not the first time i’ve purchased tour edge clubs with pretty much the same result - difficult for me to hit.
i traded the club in with others for a new putter.
probably not what you wanted to hear but just my opinion.
btw, as of this writing, i purchased the gap wedge of this model to see if that club would be different. sad to say, same result.
These clubs are the best irons I have ever ordered! I am hitting the ball straighter and longer! Feel comfortable when I swing and love the grip! ⛳️🏌️♀️❤️
Love these new irons! Comfortable feel and actually hitting my ball straighter and farther too! I have been using these hybrids for several years and this is my third set❤️❤️⛳️
Very quick shipping and just as ordered. I’ve only had the opportunity to use the clubs twice but they have made a significant difference for this Senior Lady! I look forward to a fantastic summer with these clubs. Thank you.
Bought barely used 5,6,8 and 9’s of these clubs and instantly loved them so much I just had to buy what I needed to complete the set. I’m so happy with the loft and distance I am getting with this clubs!!!!
