I feel more comfortable playing traditional wedges compared to wider-sole options like the HL Max D.
Personally, I prefer traditional-style wedges over ultra-wide cavity-backs like the HL Max D.

Used it the first time the other day. Very easy to hit.
Got the 56 degree sand wedge and it’s excellent around the green. The sole design makes a world of difference. Great club. I just want to add a comment regarding the rest of the hot launch max d ironwood that I’ve got. I started with the #5 to see if it’s easier to play than my traditional one. Turned out to be a lot easier, more consistent and even longer. Then I decided to swapped out the #6 and #7. I enjoyed them so much that I decided to get the #8 through pitching wedge. Thereafter, I decided to get the gap wedge and the sand wedge as well. To be honest, I wasn’t sold on the way they look at first. But after playing them . I couldn’t care less how they look. They are easier and definitely more fun to play than any traditional iron that I ever played in the past. I must say that there is a tendency for the ball to draw most of the time. I guess that very much by design. For me, I like a straighter ball flight and I have to make a slight compensation to execute that. I just ordered the #4 to complete my set.
Wow, that’s what I said when I hit the first shot. All I can say is that they work. I can keep the ball flight down and also hit flop shots with them. They are able to hit any shot you want or need to. Yes, I like them.

Amazing feel. Love being able to custom order to my exact specifications with every club. (2up and 0.75 inches short) Can really get some good feel and spin on these wedges. Once I got the hang of where to put them in my stance... which is basically dead center with everything, I was able to get really dialed in with some good drop and stop shots, esp with the L wedge.
Nice wedge, easy to hit, but I went with the exotics instead.

Just received my 56 sand wedge and it worked well. 1st chip around green holed for birdie. Hit several other times and performed well from sand and fairway.
Unfortunately weather in Costal VA has not afford an opportunity to use my new club. It looks and feels great! I look forward to my next sand trap adventure!
What can I say, they just plain work. Aim and fire! Better than expected, as my friend would say. My playing partners are not happy, they say it the new clubs, not me. Great to chip with off the green. Wedge play is stop drop with very little roll out. FYI my last two wedge sets were Kirkland Gen. 1&2. I use Kirkland balls and I am tearing the covers off. That’s the truth.

I recently purchased a set of X 725 irons, 6 - A wedge. I liked these clubs so much I decided to get a sand wedge and a lob wedge. Today was the first round with the wedges. I use of the sound wedge was solid. You can square up the club and hit behind the ball for a good result. I haven’t played a lob wedge in decades. Today I got up and down 4 out 6 times! I am very happy with the wedges. Great price and fast delivery on custom clubs ( one inch long and midsize grips ).
Just went out with the wedges (GAP &SW) for the first time today and I absolutely love them!! Have plenty of pop! Hit them father then my old wedges. Extremely accurate as well. I am a terrible approach and chipper and these helped me with those immediately. Can’t chunk these things!! The weight helps with thin shots as well. Would recommend them for anyone who is like me.

The club is everything that I was looking for in a gap wedge; it has a great feel, the l club head has an appealing design, and the ball reacts really well after contact. The club is definitely a bargain!

Used the Hot Launch Max D wedge for the first time today. The feel and balance are the most comfortable I’ve experienced in the short time I’ve been playing. I’m 82 yrs young and have played golf on and off since I was 15. My playing partners remarked on the difference it made in my game. Time to order more Tour Edge.

Another great product. Though I have not played many rounds with it as of yet, it fits right in with the other tour edge clubs I have.
I had already purchased the full set of clubs, but I felt like I needed this club to enhance my game. So far after the first 4 rounds, I already notice how much more confidence I have with the short shots. Wonderful feel, and it looks great!
I got the 60 degree wedge and have only briefly tried it. It works pretty well and consistently launches the ball high to go about 20 feet. I haven't yet figured out how to make shots that go further but that my issue; nothing with the club. It's nice and heavy and feels good when I swing it.

Very easy to play in the sand and short approach
These clubs are great Handicap down by three after 5 rounds. Easy to hit straight. Good looking clubs with a high quality feel. Bought the head covers as well and thought I would not use the much but I like the clubs so much I want to protect them. Bought 60 degree, sand wedge , AW, P, 9,8,7,6,5,4, I highly recommend these clubs. I also dealt with customer support a couple of times over an issue getting me a label for my trades. They were on top of it and once I shipped the trade clubs my credit came through quickly.
Wedges are performing as expected. They feel great. Getting better gaping than with my other wedges. My games requires excellent wedge play. Very happy.
This is a great wedge. I gave it 4 stars because I haven’t played it enough to rate it 5 stars. If you aim it good, you’ll get height and quick stop.
