Trust your Wingman to deliver improved success on the greens. The new Wingman 800 putter series features key design elements to maximize MOI and stability, providing you confidence as you step up to each putt. The Wingman 801 is a mid toe hang mallet style putter that features a slant neck hosel design.
A new aluminum sole plate placed beneath a large hollow center offers weight reallocation to the heel and toe, maximizing MOI for a smooth stroke and consistent speed across the face.
Significantly Enhanced Feel
A new VIBRCOR soft TPU insert located behind the 304 stainless steel putter face provides an ultra soft feel at impact.
Precision Milled Face
The signature Wingman "W" face is precision milled, ensuring a noticeably consistent soft feel with pure roll on every putt.
Alignment-Enhancing Design
A contrasting white alignment stripe draws your eye to the center of the putter face and down your target line. Subtle visual cues such as the design angles and shaft bend offerings further enhance your alignment.
Stunning Finish
A premium anti-glare navy PVD finish provides a confidence inspiring look at address.

Love my Wingman 801. Had been using a blade and wanted something more forgiving. Tried everything at PGA Tour Superstore and this was the clear winner. Never had a putter start on my intended line so much. Love the color too. Great job Tour Edge. Love the look of the milled face.
I pre-ordered the 801 putter in March '25 and received/ played it for the first time on April 23rd. I've been playing an original Scotty Cameron Newport Studio Style blade for many years and thought it might be time to try a mallet.
I tried playing the TE Exotics 702 Series last fall, yet it played too light-squirrelly for me. Maybe XL grip threw it off...
I was hoping this new release, 801 from TE, would be more swing stable. On the first hole, I 2-putted, the 801 felt good, the weight/ balance and feel/sound were right for me right then.
I played 18 with it, and here is my first take on this putter:
1. I prefer the 801 putter-grip, smaller and more comfortable, and over the first few holes, it became a very familiar, easy-to-repeat grip.
2. The large 2 sight lines help immensely, my aim and distance control seem easier. The shaft is out of the way of sightline, which is important to me as well.
3. The initial ball roll off the face did not bounce, roll seems true, Soft sound and firm feel result in smooth stroke operation, not clunky at hits. Soft and direct, with a quieter sound and feel off the putter face, is a nice welcome to my scoring tool.
4. Lastly, some putters are so busy looking that it blows concentration. This putter has no junk hanging on it, simple, direct, and to the point. It's not saying Wow, look at me, this is so good or anything to that effect. Yet I can't get it out of my head how positive it was to stroke. Putting confidence was obvious to me over every putt.
However, I noticed I was getting comfortable with the 801 quickly, and I now prefer this mallet 801. I also noticed the blue color helped me with progressive concentration.
I support the quality and efforts of Tour Edge. The 801, this latest putter, is good for me and didn't break the bank!
Overall? Good job.
I played this putter for the first time April 23rd. I've played a Scotty Cam Newport Studio Style blade- elder series for many years and thought it might be time to try something new.
I ordered the last rendition from TE Exotics 702 Series last year in the fall yet it's play for me was too light= squirrel-ly.
I ordered this putter as a last ditch effort hoping this new release from TE was more stable. I took it out of my bag on first hole and 2 putted, okay, felt good and weight balance was right for me.
So I played all 18 with it and here is my first take on this putter:
1. I prefer this grip, it is comfortable, and over the first few holes it became very familiar, ease of grip.
2. The large 2 sight lines help immensely, my aim and distance control seems easier. The shaft is out of the way of sightline- very important to me as well.
3. Sound and feel is smooth. soft and direct, quieter sound and feel off the putter face was a welcomed plus to my putts- scoring- game.
4. Lastly, Some putters are so busy looking that it blows concentration. This putter has no junk hanging on it, simple, direct, and to the point. It's not saying wow, look at me, this is so good nor anything to that affect. Yet I can't get it out of my head how positive it was to swing. Putting confidence was obvious to me over every putt. I hadn't played the elder 702 mallet well.
However, yesterday I noticed I'm getting used to 802 very quickly- I prefer this 802. I also noticed the blue color helped me in progressive concentration.
I support the quality, and efforts of Tour Edge to produce a new putter such as this. Good job.
During a demo day last year, TE rep mentioned the Wingman putters and had several at the event. He asked me to take a few putts and recommended the 801, which I purchased recently. Well crafted and a great addition to my TE arsenal of clubs. Seems to have made a difference in my putting in a good way. Thanks TE.
Nice putter, definitely seems to be a help. Like the contrasting white, helps to lineup...still early though, only two rounds in, hence the 4 star review...
Love the 801 putter. Easy to line up and rolls the ball really well. Good balance and perfect weight. Maybe could have come with a different grip but, that's my preference and easy to change.
I have used an Odessy #7 for the last 10 years
It took a little time to adjust to the putter, however once I got the feel of Wingman, I only 2 putted 2 holes out of 18
It’s balance and comfort of new style grip alone makes it feel like I have used this putter for years
I tried both at wingman 801 and 802 putters and I really like them both. I like the very visible alignment aid, but I was coming from playing a smaller blade putter and while I found out that the mallet more face balance type putters were not right for my swing. It had nothing to do with the putter And I want to give a shout out to tour edges playability 30 day guarantee which allowed me to use these putters and then return them for a full refund. Their service is top-notch so I thank them for this opportunity I had.
Putter is well balanced, alignment marks aid in staying the line. Best thing I love is how the ball comes off the face , so smooth, and with a tight roll . Yes, would recommend this putter
I love my new Wingman 801. It is much heavier than my old Tour Edge putter, but I'm quickly adjusting. Looking forward, I can see my average putts per round dropping greatly.
I have only used this putter for 2 rounds so far but the feel is head and shoulders above any other putter I have owned. I love the look also and look forward to shaving some strokes off my game with this great tool. Thank you Tour Edge for producing such a fine quality club.
purchasing was easy
delivery was quick
As for the putter I love the solid feel when the ball is struck plus the club is extremely well balanced- this is the most noticeable quality of the putter
Well done - thanks
