I purchased a set of MB/CB Irons 4-PW, 4-7CB; 8-PW MB; stiff 115 Gram shafts. I have recently used Honma and Miura irons and these irons are as good as any premium club. They feel great and look absolutely fantastic. I actually wish I purchased the MB all the way down to the 6 iron. The MB's are very easy to hit and are very forgiving for an MB iron. I found the MB's were easy to move the ball in both directions. Superb clubs that I would recommend to anyone.
Received my TE Exotics MB's on November 4th- Ordered the complete set with KBS Stiff shafts and midsize grips. Had a small adjustment done to loft and lie as well. I did remove the GP Velvet grips as I simply do not like their feel but no biggie as I had some MCC dual compound grips lying around. So much better. Anyway, I played three rounds with them and hit maybe 400 range balls- Overall, I am super happy with this purchase. These Irons feel soft and crisp. Distance is compareable to my Pro 723's but the feel is so much more pronounced. I feel the ball compression in the club head which is a new sensation for me. I have always felt some compression but not like this- I assume it may be due to them being MB's and honestly, i was concerned that I would not be able to control them to well. I can honestly say that while it took me a little while to find the sweet spot, once you dial it in, they feel amazing. I would not hesitate to reccomend these irons to anyone- the feel, workability and asthetics is really top notch. Another great product. I am a TE believer!
Great looks and feel. As a guy who has played staff model blades for some years these do look a bit chunky - particularly the 9 iron and PW. I’ve gotten use to them now after a few rounds and these irons do perform well. They do not have those rocket spots (IFKYK) and consistency on dispersion is tight. Excellent build quality and I’d say these could be played up to 12 hdcp golfer with no issue. Turf interaction is great. Just a really good iron.
Soft and buttery. I am a +3 handicap sponsored mini tour player and for the off season so I wanted to try something new. I am so glad I did. These irons are amazing. Wish they were bit thinner (I play Wilson staffs so everything looks bigger in comparison). Very attractive at address, workable and the slight offset is not a problem for me. Super high performing and super high quality. The customer services is second to none. Highly recommend.
Perfect profile except offset!! A players club should have that much offset!! Feel great but offser of a beginners club
