The Hot Launch C523 Hybrid provides an extremely high Moment of Inertia (MOI) that tightens dispersion and increases overall accuracy in a compact design. This hybrid is for the player seeking optimal launch and spin rates in a minimal offset design, while still enjoying the benefits of extreme playability.
New Sole Rail Design - A new sole rail design on all C523 metals that extends from leading edge to trailing edge. The new sole rail design produces a super-low CG for high-launching shots with optimized spin rates, decreased turf interaction and maximum ball speed off the face. The rail design lowered the CG and allowed for a 36% increase in hitting area on the face of the fairway, making it easier to achieve greater power and increased forgiveness.
MOI-Boosting Rear Sole Weight - A back weight is strategically placed to the extreme rear of the clubhead that places more mass at the extreme trailing edge of the clubhead. The back weight creates an extremely high MOI rating, an 11% increase over the previous iteration, for top in-line stability. This weighting dramatically affects a lower and deeper CG positioning of the club for ease of launch and more forgiveness off the face at impact.
Larger Power Channel - The Power Channel on the sole of the club behind the club face is strategically deeper and wider in the C523 design. The 90% larger Power Channel featured on the C523 Hybrid distributes weight to promote increased face flexing, amplified ball speed and less spin, as well as added forgiveness on shots struck lower on the face.
Diamond Face VFT - Diamond Face Variable Face Thickness technology is a breakthrough in face technology that features 39 different thick and thin diamond shapes or “mini-trampolines” behind the face. Diamond Face VFT produces a hotter face with faster ball speeds and better performance on off-center hits, as well as reduced spin.
Player Preferred Shaping - The more compact profile and deeper face of the C523 Hybrid were designed with the competitive player in mind. The C523 Hybrid design sits open and has a more pear-shaped traditional design that player’s look for at address. This versatile hybrid will play from the tee, fairway, rough and around the green.
Ultra-Light Premium Shafts – The C523 hybrid comes stock with an ultra-light UST Mamiya HL-SST graphite shaft that ranges from 45 to 60 grams depending on the flex. The UST Mamiya HL-SST shafts feature Stabilized Shaft Tech, a softer tip, and a mid-range flex. Stabilized Shaft Tech is an added cross weave that reduces ovaling for better stability during the loading and unloading of the shaft.
I have ONLY used it a couple of times because of the cold weather in South Carolina I really wanted My friend Alan shoot a video of myself using My new club and he lives in Atlanta Georgia and only comes up to golf with me once a week every time we can schedule a game on Tuesdays cuz that's the only days available it rained and then it was so cold in the morning and afternoon they closed the golf course but the times that I used it is a great golf club off the t for me I'm having a little trouble on The fairway I'm not used to a smaller face on this hybrid that's why I bought a 523 tour edge golf club but I can't remember if it's an e or an h 523 it was on sale and it has a little bigger face I'm going to see if a bigger face works better for me off the fairway but I enjoy your clubs I have one of your drivers and a couple others I really enjoy them
Decided to try a hybrid. Club had only minimal markings on the leading edge. Otherwise like all of the other pre-owned clubs in my bag, can’t tell it was pre-owned.
I bought a C725 Driver earlier this year and liked it so much I decided to try the 5 hybrid. It's a great club, and so I then ordered a 4 hybrid. It also works great. I would recommend Tour Edge exotics to anyone. I am a 68-year-old with an 18-hole handicap of 6.
Picked up this (5h) and the 3h from the "pre-owned" section. Couldn't see any difference between these and "brand new". Replaced much older 5h & 3h, did exactly what I hoped - better launch, more distance, more consistent. Clubs are great and price was even better! Highly recommended.
I bought this hybrid because of my success with other Tour Edge products. I originally intended t replace one of my existing hybrids. The new TE hybrid is fixed loft and it does not seem to go as far as my current hybrids. My existing hybrids have adjustable lofts and are adjusted to a lower loft than the 22 degree TE I purchased.
I really love this hybrid however because it is easy to hit and reliable. It launches high unlike my other hybrids. I keep all 3 hybrids in my bag now but I use the TE hybrid as my go to layup club.
Was so happy with my first Tour Edge hybrid that I bought a second. Compact shape glides through fairways, rough, and even sand.
Minimal draw bias allows straight shots as well as draws. The ball just flies off the face, soars very high, descends steeply and holds the green. Both "pre-owned" hybrids arrived brand new and at an incredible price. I no longer have any use for my 3 and 4 irons, may they rest in peace.
It was time to update from my Adams hybrid. The C523 has a much better sweet spot. My only issue is that the shaft is a full inch shorter. I assumed it would be the same since both are supposed to be “standard.”
Opened the box like it was Christmas morning.
To my surprise the 5 hybrid was new and still factory wrapped. Immediately noticed how little draw bias compared to my old hybrid. Took to the course and immediately used it on my second shot. Took a swing and immediately my jaw dropped. Long, high, and straight 10-15 yards longer than before. Have used many time since and am a true believer.
No doubt, my best golf purchase ever.
I Am just getting into playing with the club. My first round was last week, and I am looking forward to using it again tomorrow. The club is easy to hit and I am getting 160 to 165 yards right of the ground. I am advanced in age around 81 years old. Gerry Richardson. 5/8/24
I ordered 8 preowned clubs in October. They were all in very good to excellent condition. A few weeks later I ordered this club. It was in average condition at best with significant use. I would have sent it back but didn’t have time available to return it.
