Houdini Sole

The patented Houdini Sole reduces the amount of sole area to reduce drag and turf interaction by 35% and is instrumental in significantly altering the CG placement of the E524 wedge, making it one the highest launching and easiest to hit wedge ever produced.

Condensed Wide Sole

The wide sole and heavier head weight of the E524 Wedge provides superior contact through the turf and helps eliminate flubs, while the additional camber reduces digging.

Deep Undercut Cavity

This extremely deep undercut cavity dramatically lowers the CG for the ultimate in wedge forgiveness. It redistributes mass for enhanced flight control and to create a higher launch with increased spin for extreme playability from the sand and rough.

Extra Large Face with Rounded Leading Edge

The E524 wedge design enhances consistency and accuracy. It also raises the Moment of Inertia for enhanced precision around greens and better playability from the sand and rough.

Full-Face Maximized Grooved

The full-face coverage grooves of the E524 Wedge are maximized to USGA depth and sharpness. They provide exceptional spin and control across the entire face of the wedge.

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 2 reviews.

After playing the Hot Launch E524 sand wedge with very good results, I decided to get the Hot Launch E524 gap wedge for those on course situations where it is better suited than my sand wedge. I have played it once, experienced the results I had hoped far. These are my 2 favorite wedges. The wide soles and high bounce fit my swing style. Both are Tour Edge certified preowned, making the price right for a person who has too many wedges 😎 I am telling myself you don’t need another pitching wedge, besides TE is not selling a certified pre own club.

The course I play most often has areas that are always wet and soggy. I have a steep swing so I tend to dig in and muff the shot. My search for an answer lead me to search for a wedge with a wide sole and high bounce. There a several options on the market. I chose the Tour Edge E524 sand wedge. The price was right for a used club from Tour Edge (it looks new!) that had the specs wanted. I have played it twice now. I am very happy with it. If this review is read by Tour Edge customer service, for a nice discount I would seriously consider getting the gap wedge and/or pitching wedge. :-).
