measuring is the process of taking individual physical
measurements of the golfer.
Tour
Edge uses the static measuring method as a starting point
to streamline the upcoming dynamic fitting portion of the
process. In particular, the golfer is measured for shaft
length, grip size, shaft flex, and lie angle. These initial
measurements provide the fitter a
more
accurate starting point for the dynamic fitting process.
Club
Length: The Tour Edge measuring stick comes with predetermined
marks to aid in static fitting length. The golfer should
stand with their feet together, arms hanging at their sides,
making a loose fist. The recorded measurement will be the
distance from the golfer's knuckles to the ground.
Grip
Size: Using the golfer's glove size, the proper grip
size is determined using the following chart:
